Lulworth Castle Trail Run is Back for 2027 — Entries Now Open!
We're absolutely thrilled to announce the return of the Lulworth Castle Trail Run for a second year, in partnership with the stunning Lulworth Estate!
When and Where
📅 Sunday 7th March 2027 — and yes, it falls on Mother's Day, so why not make a day of it?
📍 East Lulworth, Wareham, BH20 5QS
Set within the breathtaking grounds of Lulworth Estate, this popular charity event takes runners and walkers through some of Dorset's most spectacular scenery, with the iconic castle as your backdrop.
Choose Your Challenge
There's something for everyone this year, whether you're chasing a personal best, enjoying a leisurely walk with friends, or bringing your four-legged companion along for the adventure:
🏃 10K Trail Run — £21.40 (incl. booking fee) Race brief at 8:50am, start at 9:00am. Two loops of the 5K course, with a drink station at the halfway point.
🏃 5K Trail Run — £16.05 (incl. booking fee) Brief at 9:10am, start at 9:15am.
🚶 5K Charity Walk — £16.05 (incl. booking fee) Starts immediately after the 5K runners set off.
Dogs are welcome, and both routes suit runners and walkers of all abilities.

Getting There and Parking
Lulworth Castle, East Lulworth, Wareham BH20 5QS. Follow the brown tourist signs from the A352 (Wareham/Dorchester road).
Car park opens at 7:30am — PRICE TBC IN 2027 per vehicle.
⚠️ Please bring cash for parking — there'll be an attendant collecting payment on the gate. Card payments are available in the Tea Room, but cash is recommended to avoid delays.
Disabled parking is available (charges apply). Please note: English Heritage and Historic Houses permits are not valid for this event.
Registration opens at 7:30am, at the gazebo in the Courtyard below the Castle — collect your bib and timing chip there. Please allow plenty of time to park and register before your race start.
Late entries are permitted only if spaces remain, so we'd always recommend registering online in advance.
