Lulworth Castle Trail Run 2027
We're delighted to announce that the Lulworth Trail Run is back for a second year, in partnership with Lulworth Estate!

📍 East Lulworth, Wareham, BH20 5QS
Set within the stunning grounds of Lulworth Estate, this popular charity event offers a choice of 5K or 10K routes through some of Dorset's most spectacular scenery.
Whether you're aiming for a personal best, enjoying a leisurely walk with friends, or bringing your four-legged companion along — everyone is welcome.
Dogs welcome, and both routes suit runners and walkers alike.
Your entry helps raise money for charity, and after crossing the finish line you can relax with a well-earned selection of cakes and treats.
A huge thank you to Lulworth Estate for allowing us to return for a second year — and as it's Mother's Day, why not make a day of it?
Choose your challenge:
🏃 10K Trail Run – £21.40 (incl. booking fee) – Race brief 8:50am, start 9:00am. Two loops of the 5K course, with a drink station at the 5K point.
🏃 5K Trail Run – £16.05 (incl. booking fee) – Brief 9:10am, start 9:15am.
🚶 5K Charity Walk – £16.05 (incl. booking fee) – Starts immediately after the 5K runners.

Digital finisher certificate
Top 3 prizes (Male & Female) for both the 10K and 5K races, kindly donated by Running Free (Brooks and Altra running shoes) and Swanage Bay Sauna (vouchers)
Getting there & parking:
Lulworth Castle, East Lulworth, Wareham BH20 5QS. Follow the brown tourist signs from the A352 (Wareham/Dorchester road).
Car park opens 7:30am, CAR PARK PRICE TBC IN 2027 per vehicle — please bring cash, as there'll be an attendant collecting payment on the gate.
Card payments are available in the Tea Room, but cash is recommended to avoid delays.
Disabled parking available (charges apply).
Note: English Heritage and Historic Houses permits are not valid for this event.
Registration opens 7:30am at the gazebo in the Courtyard below the Castle — collect your bib and timing chip there.
Please allow plenty of time to park and register before your race start.
Late entries permitted only if spaces remain — register online in advance where possible.
